Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center

Great overall experience in Labor and Delivery. Dr. Tanpoco was informal and extremely helpful, the nurses were great too. Thanks Sunrise! 

At the beginning of May, I was hospitalized twice at this fine hospital. Both times I was admitted through the emergency room. When I first came in I saw posters on the wall about how this hospital was rated #1 in the region. Also the hospital has goals as to how much time different procedures would take and for me to receive those results. The emergency room staff was friendly, professional, and very efficient. I was triaged, diagnosed, and admitted to the hospital within two hours. Once in a room I was even more impressed by the staff my floor.  The nursing staff was awesome, especially Robin and Charmaine. They were attentive, caring and did their best to make my short stay as bearable and comfortable as possible. Kudos to them. The food was decent but not great, this is probably the hospitals only weak point.  As with most hospital the  doctors do not spend much time with you,but  enough tests will be run so that just about any problem will be uncovered. All-in-all, if you have to get sick, then this in not a bad hospital to be sick in.

Happy New Year Sunrise Hospital! So far I have gotten 4 more years of life thanks to Sunrise Hospital emergency staff. I should have died when I was 46 years old because of the doctors at valley Hospital. But the Sunrise gave me more life. Do not! I repeat Do Not go to Valley Hospital.
